Description
At St. Basil Granites in Thrissur, Eber Infrastructures designed and executed a Danpalon skylight canopy that doubles as the architectural face of the building. Though compact at 775 sq. ft., the canopy plays a major role in shaping the identity and presence of the space.
The use of Danpalon polycarbonate sheets provided a solution that is not only lightweight and durable but also allows for daylighting and aesthetic refinement. By combining functionality with design expression, the canopy creates a welcoming entrance and a distinct brand statement for the client.
This project demonstrates Eber’s ability to apply Danpalon systems effectively across scales — from large institutional skylights such as Technopark, Trivandrum (1,300 Sq. m.) to educational works at Kamala Niketan School, Trichy (500 Sq. m.), and now compact yet impactful façade elements like the canopy at St. Basil Granites.
